Yay, you're welcome! And yeah, a fun aspect of these types of fics is getting to dig deeper into the dwarf/hobbit culture (and/or the neat fan-invented worldbuilding stuff). A Passion For Mushrooms has a LOT of neat food stuff in it, for instance!

3 days late and several dollars short

the delay means I can start by seconding the rec for Flightless Birds, a smarter person would be able to make a pun about our brooding hero collecting all the Batkids. He is picking the ones who needed him the most, and social workers need to be dealt with so possible warnings re: child abuse (not sexual that I picked up on) but its in the past and discussed rather than on screen or graphic. Also some of the kids have medical issues so IVs and injections, liquid diets, and past medical abuse. If you have any other concerns let me know and I can at least try to scan for it.

Bookmarker's Notes:

Doesn't solve for the hypotenuse but unlike several forms of canon it doesn't make me want to punch Superman in his perfect teeth, treat Lois like an idiot, or make me worry about how Superman treats Lois. Set around a team up that sends me back to watching the superman batman adventures after school. Keeps even side characters like Mercy and Jimmy in character.

Sorry about if the notes are a little unfriendly to Superman but some interpretations really turned me against the character for awhile (that and some remaining resentment from the "Batman, Superman Adventures" cartoon when it sure felt to tween!Me like Superman got more than his fair half of the episodes)

the only thing that's going to stop me from Recing Rusty Quill Gaming fics is running out of spoiler free stuff to read. We might not have the numbers of some fandoms but it sure feels like we have the best avg fic quality around, not that I'm hopelessly biased ;)
This first one touches on events from at least Dover to Cairo so spoilers abound but if that doesn't bother you it gives you a nice taste of the personalities involved (except for the gods who we see a lot more of in this fic than in the series)
