sorry this is late, I've focused on not melting as the heat rises.

I suppose I should warn you ahead of time, I'm seeing another fandom.Once you've searched the tags in both AO3 and Tumblr there is no point in denial any longer. The Rusty Quill Gaming podcast is my current fixation; so while I will try not to turn into the all RQG channel you will see me going on about it on any social media I use.

As I said I'm trying not to be completely monotonous so I'll start with a story from Good Omens. If you aren't already subscribed to Copperbadge, you might want to consider at least looking for his work in your fandoms. The man is prolific and a great author. To be fair, I probably would have read this one no matter who wrote it because Aziraphale taking care of his community is a thing that never gets old for me.

Lets switch to my new favorite topic with a nice gen fic. I don't think you need to know much going in other than Sasha is a human from Other London, the criminal part of London that in the podcast's universe has been moved underground and that Hamid is about the only emotionally intelligent member of the party and as a halfling is much shorter than her. So its only natural to have a nice short fic about Sasha having a near panic attack at all that sky, and Hamid being there for her. Note if grammar makes you twitchy: consider this a heads up that one of the ways this fic gets disassociation/the feeling of having a panic attack across is not using capital letters and weird paragraph and sentence lengths; which is surprisingly effective.

I trust your taste enough to try just about any avengers and many x men fic as long as it isn't something like Ults where they barely seem to get along. If I remember correctly 616 is the verse where Tony is their benefactor and hides the fact he is also Iron Man, which leads to some great identity porn, I might not have read every Cap is conflicted because he likes both Iron Man and Tony fic, but that only because I try to stay out of the tags when I still have a "read later" list 91 pages long; and I think its the verse where everyone lives in the mansion which hits my "found family" spot.

I have no excuse for my weakness for some tropes but I lay those two directly at the door of growing up on batman cartoons.

Oh yeah 616 Stony has LOTS of identity porn - both cap and iron man have secret identities at one point its glorious (also...the actual for real canonical way tony gets outed as iron man to the team? I supervillian dematerializes his suit, leaving him in nothing but a bright red thong — it’s hard to top cannon sometimes tbh)
